Greenburgh Academy is seeking a Full Time LPN to cover an immediate vacancy.. The qualified candidate will be able to perform the following:

• Fulfill all School Nurse duties;
• Administers first aid; medication and emergency treatment to students
• Dispensing students’ prescribed medications
• Prepares health records for school authorities as needed;
• Prepares records and reports as required;
• Reports directly to the Building Principal
• Where applicable, participating in the IEP plan development
• Maintaining nursing log
• Provides ongoing health counseling with students with students, parents, and school personnel
• Is familiar with COVID-19 school protocols and regulations
• Oversees weekly COVID-19 surveillance testing
• Will operate under the supervision of the supervising registered school nurse

This is a full time position. Greenburgh North Castle UFSD is a public school district servicing special education students and is the premier Special Act School District in New York State with over 440 students across multiple counties. This position will be located at our Greenburgh Academy campus in Yonkers, NY which serves approximately 150 students.
