The Role:

Work as part of an established team carrying out Inspection duties within a Machining / Manufacturing setting. Working with the Quality Control Team Leader you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out visual inspection of precision machined components

• Carrying out dimensional inspection of precision machined components

• Completing inspection reports

• Completing manufacturing records for traceability

• Daily artefact checks

• Participate in Safety audits/assessments

• Participate in Quality audits/assessments

• Participate in problem solving/root cause investigations

Work Authorisation:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Required Qualifications:

• You'll be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, highly regulated environment; time management skills are essential

• Must be conscientious in what you do, paying close attention to detail at every step of the process

• You'll be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Must have experience as a Quality Inspector or in the use of associated inspection equipment and processes

Preferred Qualifications:

Apprentice trained or equivalent experience in a precision machined engineering environment

Shift:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

These are shift working positions: 6.00am-1.45pm and 1.45pm to 10.30pm, Monday to Thursday and from 1.45pm to 7.15pm on Friday, total 37.5 hrs per week.
