NOTICE
Quality Engineer I (one opening for position at Process Displays LLC in Golden Valley, MN): Responsible for accurately monitoring and enforcing Process Displays (PD) standards for design via engineering drawing review. Also responsible for the following duties:
Assure consistent quality of production by helping develop, document, audit and enforce good manufacturing practices;- Estimate the effects of product design changes on production for management review, action and control;
- Consult on sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts or products and to promote efficient resource utilization;
- Evaluate precision and accuracy of engineering drawings to formulate corrective action plans;
- Record information to ensure currency of engineering drawings and documentation of production problems;
- Employ critical thinking, using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems;
- Employ design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models;
- Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment;
- Serve as subject matter expert for other Quality technical tasks such as SPC, RCCA, etc.;
- Follow all safety and workplace policies.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
Must have color vision correctable to 20/20. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
Must have one (1) year of the following: (1) Experience in a manufacturing environment, including reading technical drawings and using measurement hand tools; and (2) Experience in a Engineer to Order/Build to Order environment.
Salary: $71,000 to $78,000 per year.
