OTSI (Object Technology Solutions, Inc) has an immediate opening for a Job Title

Job Title: Rack and Stack, Storage Array Administrator / Technician

Work Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Duration: Long term Contract

Job Description:

· Work with multiple teams to coordinate system configuration and installation within our internal data centers, accurately capturing the details within our deployment tickets.

· Provide rack & stack activities to install storage arrays into racks. Connect infrastructure cables (network and console), system interconnect cables, label and update applicable databases to properly reflect the system installation details.

· Ensure organization by complying with our cable management guidelines and installation best-practices.

· Run diagnostics and verify systems functionality after install.

· If issues arise, diagnostics and troubleshooting may involve working with remote system experts if the individual can’t resolve themselves. Therefore having the ability to accurately explain and communicate array details while simultaneously interacting with a remote expert during troubleshooting should be expected.

· Document system location, networking configuration and system status. Use our ticketing system to update the status to the end users.

· Ensure all users are up and running and close ticket when everyone is satisfied.

· Once system is installed, address any system anomalies and perform diagnostics and repair as needed. Update users using our ticketing system.

· Friendly, outgoing with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
