National Park Medical Center is a 166-bed full-service acute care hospital in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas. A Joint Commission accredited facility; we provide service to the five-county area surrounding Hot Springs. As a member hospital within LifePoint Health, we strive to be a place where employees choose to work, where physicians chose to practice and where patients chose to come for healthcare.The technologist shall provide imaging services utilizing various modalities and in multiple environments including the Operating Suites, the patient rooms, the ER, and in the Radiology department.
Position involves extensive walking, standing, stooping, pushing and bending. Lifting over 50 pounds required. Demanding position necessitates the ability to perform in a stressful environment. Visual acuity necessary to visualize patients and images. Auditory acuity needed for patient and staff communication. Ability to assess and interact effectively with age groups 18 years to the geriatric patient.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology and Registry eligible. Must be willing to cross-train in other modalities.
