Radiology Supervisor – Mammography - Days

Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Mammography team, continuing the efficient delivery of high-quality diagnostic services while enhancing the patient experience. Provides works directions, assign work, answer job related questions, and provide on the job training. Prepare performance evaluations, and effectively recommended appropriate personnel actions. Participate in the customer service program. Interface with other radiology supervisory staff in order to maintain and improve patient care. Attend and participate in departmental meetings. Conduct periodic staff meetings with staff. Recommend and implement new and revised procedures for assigned units. Assist in the clinical training of radiological students. Performs all duties inherent to managerial role. Participates in hiring, training, evaluation and termination of assigned staff according to hospital policies and procedures.

The hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 4:00pm with occasional weekends if necessary. This position is for NYP Westchester, located in Bronxville, right across from the Metro North Station.

Preferred Criteria:

• Five years progressive experience, with previous supervisory experience
• Bachelor’s Degree from Accredited University
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (except Ultrasound)

Required Criteria:

• Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiography Services
• New York State Radiological Technologist license
• American Registry Radiologic Technologist ARRT(MAM) (Mammography only)
• Regular contacts of a responsible nature with employees, patients and other persons not employed by the Institution
