Our Radiology office in Watergrass seeking a Full-Time Radiology Technologist. This role will be responsible for performing all aspects of Radiographic procedures. Current Florida Radiology Technologist license and BLS certification are required. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of anatomy. Candidate need to know or willing to learn DEXA and assist other technologist during downtime. **2 years of related experience required.**

Keys to Success in this Role:

• Performs radiographic procedures in the unit, as ordered by the physician/surgeon
• Maintain C-Arm logbook, including documentation of patient demographic information and fluoroscopy times
• Applies the principles of patient safety during all aspects of radiographic procedures, including assisting and transporting patients
• Maintain dosimeter badges
• Ensure lead aprons are tested annually
• Follow OR room chain of command
• Follow aseptic technique in the OR sterile area
• Perform incidental duties as needed

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Current Florida Radiology Technologist license
• Current BLS certification
• One year of Radiology Technologist experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience required

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Normal physical ability; able to stand for long periods
• Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making
• High level verbal communication skills
• Above average ability to manage multiple asks simultaneously
