This position will be remote. We offer a competitive base pay, eligibility for quarterly bonuses and an excellent benefits program.
This billing operations support position is responsible for researching missing EOBs (explanation of benefits) for payments, EFT (electronic funds transfers) and ERA (electronic remittance advices) enrollment, sending W-9 tax forms to payers when needed, monitoring any insurance payments sent to individual offices, and lockbox correspondence review and mapping, resolve insurance recoupments and other billing support needs.
Responsibilities:
- Work the assigned ticklers in the billing system
- Post payments, contractual allowances, rejection codes deductibles as necessary
- EFT (electronic funds transfers) and ERA (electronic remittance advices) enrollments for all operating companies
- Update various insurance companies with correct mailing address for any payment/mail that is being sent to individual offices, submit W-9 tax forms with correct lockbox information when necessary.
- Monitor, Sort and distribute correspondence received in lockboxes.
- Research and resolve insurance recoupments, offsets, and takeback.

- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Ability to type a minimum of 35wpm
- Working knowledge of EOB’s (explanation of benefits), EFT’s (electronic funds transfers, and ERA’s (electronic remittance advices
- Billing payment posting experience a plus
- Knowledge of takebacks, recoupments, and offsets from insurance companies a plus
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurances
- Ability to work independently but also team oriented
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
