Victorian Village a Continuing Care Senior Community in Homer Glen, IL is seeking a Receptionist, Part Time for Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and every other weekend. The primary purpose of your job position would entail greeting visitors and directing them where to go, assisting with deliveries, light phone work, screening employees & visitors when they arrive.
Schedule available: Every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and every other weekend. Hours are 3:30PM - 7:30PM for weekdays and 7:30AM - 1:30PM. Starting pay is $14.50/hour.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Contact clients (and family when possible) daily to ensure that the client is receiving services as requested and to ascertain any additional needs.
- Respond to requests/needs when identified through voicemail and/or other communication methods established.
- Ensure each new client’s room is in welcome condition before admission.
- Coordinate with Admission Director to ensure all required paperwork is accomplished within the required timeframe.
- Excellent customer service skills/interpersonal interactions.
- Concierge is aware of and supports the mission of the organization as shown by their actions while on duty.
- Attitudes and actions demonstrate personal responsibility for customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that resident’s rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination individuality, privacy, property and civil rights, including the right to wage complaints, are followed.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Receptionist experience.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents and staff.
