Recovery Coach Technician
Summary: Works closely with the Residential Manager, The Lead Recovery Coach Technician oversees the Recovery Coaches.
Attend and participate in staff meetings and training provided at enter to increase professional knowledge.
Will be responsible for covering shifts if can't find converage if callouts or short staffing occurs.
Complete reports and delegates projects as needed including, but not limited to, cleaning, organizing, and data entry.
Supporting the centers operations team and clinical team by being available and accessible.
Assist in maintaining order and safety among the clients in the therapy environment
- Assist other personnel with related tasks as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in completion of their work activities and for the enhancement of daily operations of the therapy center.
Job requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Mental Health experience a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Other requirements: 1. Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively. 2. Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation. 3. Ability to communicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone and in writing. 4. Requires adherence to all policies and procedures, including but not limited to, standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.
Physical Requirements: Hearing: Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone. Speaking: Must be able to communicate clearly to patients in person and over the telephone. Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including visual examination of patient and reading information from printed sources and computer screens and operating a motor vehicle. Other: Requires frequent lifting and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds unassisted, including assisting patients when required. Requires frequent bending, reaching, repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some heavy lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift. Requires exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
