Job purpose of the Recruiter/Human Resource Admin:
Under supervision of the Finance Director and in coordination with the General Manager, the Recruiter/HR Admin will be responsible for the recruitment, onboarding and ongoing communication of our American and international staff for all departments. This will include providing support for the day-to-day Human Resource operations of two interrelated companies. The selected candidate will be enthusiastic about our facilities and build relationships with external sources as to show them all that our companies have to offer. The successful candidate will provide Human Resource support for all departments of the company including, but not limited to, recruitment and staffing, report writing, documentation processing, new hire orientation and other projects as assigned. This position will report directly to the Finance Director

Duties and responsibilities of the Recruiter/Human Resource Admin:

  • Process employee status changes in a timely accurate manner
  • Assist in hiring staff members.
  • Developing job descriptions
  • Placing ads
  • reviewing applicants
  • verifying former employment experience
  • Interviewing candidates, as determined by management.
  • Benefits plan administration
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation
  • Work closely with manager and executives in support of the employee experience form hire to separation.
  • Work with agencies to hire foreign workers to cover busy season.
  • Develop programs for foreign workers to provide a cultural experience.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in recruiting staff and onboarding.
  • Experience in Human Resource Admin.
  • Knowledge of Management-labor relations, Federal and State employment laws.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to resolve conflict and make sound independent decisions.
  • Leadership skills, self-starter, willing to take initiative.
Physical requirements:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand, and use their hands and fingers, to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
