Recruiting & On-Boarding
- Working with our Management Team, assist in identifying current and future personnel needs and creating a plan to fill these needs
- Assisting with creating, developing, and maintaining current and accurate Job Descriptions
- Proactively post positions utilizing a variety of platforms
- Handle pre-screening process and coordinate interviews with viable candidates with Management Team
- Participate in candidate interviews and provide input
- Maintain data, stage in process, and ensure timely communications occur with candidates
- Prepare offer letters for candidates and perform background and reference checks
- Develop a network of resources to recruit from
- Coordinate and manage on-boarding process with new hires
Documentation & File Management
- Ensure Job Descriptions are current, and a company-wide, consistent format is adhered to
- Maintain accurate records re: pay eligibility for vacation, holiday, sick and personal time
- Ensure all personnel documentation and files are managed to adhere to all state and federal laws
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all statistical data as required by law or requested by the Executive Team
- Maintain a HR calendar to ensure all performance and compensation reviews are completed in a timely manner. Communication and follow-up with our Management Team is the key factor here
Staff Development
- Recommend and deliver pertinent training to management team and the entire staff on topics that you or the Executive Team identify and agree on
- Support other team managers in their training and development initiatives
- Serve as Offix’ “Information Sharing Officer”. Strive to identify current and relevant staffing & HR data and share with the appropriate team members
- Will require traveling and spending time in our Richmond and Norfolk, VA offices on occasion
Benefits Management & Team Building
- Working with the Executive Team to ensure the Employee Benefits Package is properly communicated, documented, updated, and coordinated to ensure all state and federal laws are adhered to and employee satisfaction is maximized
- Review benefit offerings from vendors and make recommendations to Executive Team
- Plan & coordinate team building events as agreed on with the Executive Team – a minimum of 2 per year
- Serve as a Total Quality Management and Culture Champion by working with our team to create a climate in which our employees continuously strive to improve their ability to provide great customer care to our clients and strive to assist us in achieving our Offix Cultural Goals
- Serve as Offix’ Point Person for “grievance issues and conflict resolution issues” within the company
- Serve as Executive Team’s sounding board and pro-actively provide input, suggestions, and recommendations re: actions, activities, coaching, etc. that you believe should be addressed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field is preferred
- 3 to 5 years of relevant recruiting and/or HR experience is preferred
- SHRM Certification or is in the process is preferred
- Basic to advanced skills working with Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong time management, planning and organizational skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot and improve business processes
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional presence to work effectively with a team

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,435.92 - $75,000.00 per year
