Job Overview

The Recruiting Coordinator at All-Star Sports Academy (ASSA) will be an integral part of our people operations team. They will be responsible for supporting the hiring process from beginning to end, with heavy influence on sourcing and screening. The recruiting coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining local college relationships as well as attending on-site career fairs. This role will be hybrid (3-2) and will be required to travel between our facilities (West Chester, Downingtown, Conshohocken, Warminster, Broomall and Cherry Hill)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implementation of ASSA recruiting strategy
  • Consult with facility managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives
  • Write and post job descriptions on career websites and universities boards
  • Source candidates by using databases and social media
  • Balance and maintain a pipeline of candidates for each respective employment opportunity
  • Evaluate and screen resumes
  • Conduct phone, video and/or in-person interviews
  • Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions
  • Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions
  • Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met
  • Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
  • Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods
  • Attend job fairs and careers events
  • Use recruiting tools like tests and assignments to assess candidates’ skills
  • Update and maintain data integrity through ASSA's ATS system
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of recruiting experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks
  • Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn
  • Strong desire to succeed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team-oriented
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to travel 50 miles
  • Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time
