We are looking for an enthusiastic customer service professional to work in our dynamic and friendly referrals team in Moorfields Private. It is a varied role where no two days are the same.If you are a great administrator who is personable with good attention to detail and problem solving skills then we want to hear from you!
PROBATIONARY PERIOD
This post will be subject to a probationary period of 6 months.
During the probationary period, your suitability for continued employment will be assessed and provided a satisfactory standard is achieved and maintained, your employment will be confirmed. The probationary period may be extended or your employment terminated either during or at the end of probation, in line with the trust Probationary Policy. For the duration of the probation period, the notice period will be in line with contractual obligations on either side.
You will play a crucial role in liaising with embassies, optometrists, GPs and other referrers to ensure that patients can come to Moorfields for world-leading eye care.
The main duties of the role are:
- To co-ordinate the patient pathway for UK-referred, overseas, VIP and corporate patients and their sponsors, ensuring that required appointments and treatments are processed efficiently and with great customer service.
- To answer and manage enquiries, and ensure that patients and referrers receive an exceptional level of customer service.
- Provide support to the marketing and business development team when required.
As a team, we are also going through a period of investment in new ways of working and you will have the chance to be involved in the build, design and testing of our new digital system.

This role is based in Moorfields Private Outpatient Centre on our City Road site near Old Street station.
Due to covid, the team are currently working in a hybrid model with 2-3 days in the office and 2-3 days working remotely. This may be subject to change in the future.
