Position Summary:

R.S. Hanline is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to join our Maintenance Team. This position is responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure our temperature-controlled coolers are running at its optimal performance level.

Responsibilities:

• Experience with commissioning and decommissioning HVAC systems including but not limited to; ventilation, PVC plumbing, copper lines sets, insulation and compressors.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently with clear, concise communication regarding what needs/ will need done.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
• Maintain healthy inventory of commonly replaced parts or parts with known long lead times.
• Communicate with maintenance supervisor regarding needs of parts, tools and/ or scheduling for repairs or service.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
• 2+ years’ Experience with semi-hermetic piston compressors, systems, and controls.
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, heating, chillers, and heat exchangers.
• EPA certified.
• Understanding of safe electrical work practices with up to 480VAC 3 phase.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
