REGIONAL ASSESSMENT NURSE, RN OVERVIEW: This position is to be filled with a Registered Nurse to assist with ALP admissions in the Westchester area, with travel to New Rochelle and Mohegan Lake as well
REGIONAL ASSESSMENT NURSE, RN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned UAS and submission of RUG scores.
- The employee may be required travel to any one of our service areas.
- Responsible for all ALP admissions within assigned region/territory
- Responsible for clearly communicating weekly availability to ensure proper scheduling and coverage of ALP admissions
- Must communicate and work closely with Corporate Director of Admissions to ensure proper scheduling of all required UAS within specified time-frames
- Touch base with facility administration ahead of all scheduled assessments to ensure all proper paperwork, materials and information are prepared and available
- Keep up to date knowledge base in reference to current admission assignments
- Maintain client records in accordance with agency policy and procedure
- Observe, assess and report any adverse sign and/or symptom
REGIONAL ASSESSMENT NURSE, RN QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse, and have 1 years’ experience as a professional nurse with administrative/supervisor experience in health care.
