Job Summary

We are seeking a Regional Dietitian to assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition & sustainability initiatives that support the assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field support position, travel upwards of 35%
  • Creates, measures, and evaluates progress of the wellness and sustainability strategic plan in collaboration with district goals
  • Assists with the development, field implementation, and evaluation of nutrition and sustainability programs
  • Collaborates with operations and support teams to develop programs that meet nutrition guidelines, regulatory standards, and district food cost goals
  • Participates as part of the sales team by providing nutrition related sales materials for new business proposals, attends sales presentations, and strategic planning meetings
  • Assists the field with interpretation of regulations, maintenance of USDA Administrative Review readiness, and preparation for specific USDA audits
  • Leads electronic menu management system implementation, training, maintenance, and measurement
  • Interfaces with teams to provide nutritional and regulatory review of ingredients, recipes, and menus
  • Manages Food Allergy and Medical Condition program compliance
  • Monitors field compliance with USDA regulations and policies via on-site and off-site audits
  • Leads and coordinates nutrition sustainability and compliance training
  • Maintains knowledge as well as interprets current nutrition & regulatory topics and trends
  • Travels throughout the region as needed

Qualifications:

  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/ Credentialing Board in states where applicable
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Five (5) years of experience working in Foodservice or equivalent in a highly regulated field
  • Demonstrated leadership skill and experience
  • Experience with large group public speaking and training
  • Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and collaboration skills with strong attention to detail
  • Multi-account experience preferred
  • Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications and nutrient analysis programming
