Why We Need You
CAMS is currently seeking a full-time, in-house Regional Director to support the on-site community operations in the Charlotte, NC market. In this hands-on leadership position, you'll be responsible for business retention by ensuring that our clients receive the highest-quality customer service, meeting financial and operational goals and growing our client base in the region. In addition, you'll serve as a mentor for your team and lead them in their personal and professional development.
What You'll Do Here
- Directly oversee and manage performance requirements for On-site Community Managers
- Work closely with the business development team to provide local expertise, promote the CAMS brand, and foster new business growth within your region
- Communicate periodically with the top 10% of Community Association Board Presidents for the region
- Monitor the account management processes and make recommendations for change that enhances quality, efficiency, and costs
- Provide leadership to plan and execute company strategies and operations
- Provide oversight for continuous quality improvement initiatives while building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and service providers
- Work with the Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President to identify resources to meet operational needs
- Work with the HR Team to recruit and retain high-quality team members
- Work with CAMS Process Leaders to understand and implement business processes
- Ensure we are adhering to the requirements of our service agreements with each customer
New Business Efforts
1. Participate in efforts to increase CAMS’ market presence. Network with key local vendors, builders, developers, and potential customers.
2. Lead transition of new properties from Business Development to an assigned community manager.
3. Act as liaison of business development team.
4. Recommend and implement value added services for competitive advantage as appropriate.
5. Attend sales calls and meetings for new business as coordinated by Business Development.
6. On an as needed basis, work with Business Development Team in preparing proposals and contracts.
Developer Consulting
1. Act as liaison to builders and developers around the region.
2. Assist in development of annual budgets for developers.
3. Attend meetings and provide trusted guidance to developers regarding association setup.
Requirements
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
- Leadership qualities and mindset in regards to managing people and their output
- Excellent reasoning, planning, and time-management abilities
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of multi-tasking, staying organized and paying strong attention to detail
- Self-starter who is motivated, proactive, and able to work quickly and accurately
- Able to meet various attendance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Education, Licensing, & Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in HOA/POA management/supervisory role
- CMCA required; AMS and PCAM strongly preferred
