We are looking to grow our amazing sales team in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
The Regional Group Events Manager is a business development role tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound calling activities, focusing on corporate events, as well as execution and communication/follow up for each event. The right candidate will be goal-oriented to meet monthly and annual sales and activity quotas. In addition, candidates should work well under pressure, think outside the box, easily initiate relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and be highly self-motivated. This position is salary plus commission with uncapped commission potential.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound sales calls
- Respond to inbound online inquiries in a timely manner
- Create proposals based on the needs of the customer
- Utilize Zoho CRM tool to ensure processes during all sales stages
- Book events which could include but are not limited to: Activities, Catering/Bar Services, Meeting Space/Private Room Rental, Special Requests (A/V, Flip Charts, White Boards, Special Linens, etc.), Post Event Follow-Ups.
- Facility tours to interested groups
- Ongoing email blasts to established contacts in CRM database
- Sales forecasting/pipeline initiative
- Networking at business events including but not limited to local Chambers of Commerce, local business councils, local tourism councils
- Outbound cold calls/canvassing/lead generation – minimum of 30 new leads per week
- Community interaction/trade shows
- Warm lead follow-up
Job Requirements
- Previous sales experience required with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Basic understanding of sales process and dynamics
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Basic knowledge of computer systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers
- A commitment to excellent customer service
