Job description
- Directly responsible for managing the neighborhood in order to achieve budgeted goals.
- Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and monthly reporting.
- Approve payables for specified assets (within approval guidelines)
- Staff Management
- Responsible for hiring, reviewing, managing, performance appraisal, and terminating site associates as needed.
- Manages employment or contracting for services of maintenance, housekeeping, leasing, and grounds-keeping.
- Assist with company-wide initiatives and training programs
- Provide advanced level of customer service when dealing with clients, associates and vendors.
- Maintains neighborhood compliance.
- Responsible for coordinating inspections and audits with banks examiners, equity partners, state agencies, and local government officials.
- Responsible for staff adhering to all fair housing laws.
- Responsible for the oversight of the marketing of the neighborhood through various sources of print, online media, networking, and event management.
- Directs preparation of financial statements and reports on status of neighborhoods such as occupancy rates and dates of lease expirations.
- Communicates the status of projects and issues with the Director of Property Operations on a regular basis.
- All other related duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- 3 Years of Sales Management Experience Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as accounting and fundamental geometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Up to 50% Travel is required in this role.
