A day in the Life:
The Regional Marketing Specialist will plan, implement and deploy key marketing programs and promotions within North America across all media, including digital, web, and print, for the Life Science business. Working closely with various cross-functional teams, the marketing specialist will translate global marketing plans into coordinated and executable communication strategies, providing promotional and lead generation support for a variety of target markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative efforts to generate new marketing campaigns which will engage with current and future customers while also growing the marketing contact database
  • Craft, improve, and implement cross-divisional digital and print tactics to reach customers optimally, generates new opportunities for sales, and achieve revenue goals. Measure success and propose actions and strategies based on customer behavior.
  • Understand the needs of North American customers and apply that knowledge to future campaign development, asset regionalization, and deployment
  • Design, and maintain new sales assets to ensure that sales reps can stay relevant and have the most up-to-date information, especially during these more virtual times.
  • Train the sales teams on new programs and collateral to enable selling.
  • Provide global partners with regional feedback for improved campaign efficiency
  • Work with cross-functional teams such as web and digital marketing to attain marketing reach while also testing out new and innovative tactics.
  • Assist in the direction of in-house and external creative teams, encouraging and maintaining relationships with agencies, writers, designers, and illustrators

Keys to Success:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in a science, marketing, or communications subject area

Experience

  • Requires a minimum of 0-1 years of confirmed experience in marketing or sales
  • Experience implementing marketing campaigns

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stay within timelines and budget
  • Problem-solving skills are essential
  • Ability to stay current with ongoing marketing trends and translate these concepts to resonate with scientists
