Purpose
Support maintenance, reliability, and MRO for manufacturing operation for a designated region of sites. Responsible for developing and driving the strategies across the sites related to maintenance planning, coordination of daily, long term, and shutdown maintenance plans, and spare parts inventory management per the Roseburg Reliability Playbook.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and develop site maintenance planners to effectively plan, scope, estimate, and schedule maintenance activities
  • Conduct maintenance planning/scheduling gap analyses across designated sites and translate into actionable plans to optimize asset uptime
  • Assist sites to develop and maintain solid fundamental preventive and predictive schedules in the EAM/CMMS
  • Serve as a core leadership team member on the Corporate Roseburg Reliability Team representing the maintenance planning, shutdown, and parts inventory functions across sites
  • Lead the site stores personnel to optimize our site storerooms
  • Collaborate with all departments to translate work requirements into clear achievable plans
  • Work directly with maintenance and purchasing to help develop strategies and processes to optimize planning and scheduling of maintenance work
  • Assist with efforts to optimize job plans for maintenance work in the mills, with safety instructions and special precautions
  • Assist with efforts to build and maintain our technician skills development programs across sites
  • Provides job estimates around scope, resources, and parts required as appropriate
  • Coordinates and prioritizes planning and maintenance work with production requirements
  • Coordinate the PDM results, use results for planning of required maintenance
  • Follow up and elimination of recurring down time issues
  • Models company core values

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years' experience in maintenance planning, maintenance management, or reliability supervisory role
  • 5+ years’ experience in a regional, corporate, or consulting role serving multiple sites across a large region
  • High school diploma
  • Thorough understanding of RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) fundamentals and implementation strategies
  • Demonstrated understanding of company safety policies and expectations
  • Ability to read blueprints and some drafting
  • PC operation and experience (MS Project, Excel, EAM/CMMS, SAP/ERP, etc.)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to make decisions and maintain composure in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to work in and maintain a highly functional team environment
  • Willing to work anytime as required to meet mill needs including nights, weekends and holidays if necessary
  • Must be willing to attend additional training with passing grades as required
  • Travel 60-80%

Preferred Qualifications
  • BS degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field
  • Maintenance background in both electrical and mechanical trades
  • SMRP certification (CRL, CMRP, CMRT, etc.
  • Multiple full-life cycle deployments of EAM and RCM across multiple production facilities
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and other Continuous Improvement methodologies
