PERFORMANCE SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for leading and guiding the execution of sales strategies and tactics for the region; managing key customer alliances, executive selling of NIBCO products and services to the account; coordinating branch support of the NIBCO program; and leading the regional sales team in accomplishing KRA’s and objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leadership of the Regional Sales Team of the Central Region consisting of the following states: IL, IN, MI, WI, IA, ND, SD, MN, MO.
- Builds internal partnership between the customer account and NIBCO channel management.
- Manage & oversee account pricing, programming, terms, and rebates.
- Teamwork with NIBCO Customer Service Department to provide win/win customer solutions.
- Developing and executing win-win scenarios for the customer account and NIBCO.
- Implementing improved sales processes.
- Work with Area Managers to improve competencies and technical sales skills.
- Co-manage the manufacturer’s representative firms in the region.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Five years of plumbing/building industry sales experience is preferred, although all strong sales backgrounds will be considered.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree required.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to strategize & teamwork with the Assistant Regional Manager as well as regional Commercial Sales Manager. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
