From the steel in our first reinforced bridge in 1903, to railway sensors, we work with government authorities, asset owners, construction companies, and design offices to support their infrastructure projects.
Our systems are found in iconic projects such as The Golden Gate Bridge, Panama Canal, Kap Shui Mun Bridge, and Freedom Tower.
We are strengthening our Operations Department in Southam and are looking for a Business Administration Apprentice.
Role and Responsibilities
The Regional Sales Manager is a key role responsible for the growth and development for the western region which includes 11 western states. They will work, with the support of an inside sales team, to achieve regional objectives in a B2B business environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide excellent service to customers in the region through responsiveness, project support from start to finish, and the development a mutually beneficial partnership.
- Streamline internal processes to best support and serve both DYWIDAG and our customers.
- Prospect for new business inside and outside of existing known product applications.
- Identify new bidding opportunities, develop relationships with stakeholders, assemble proposals, negotiate pricing, and follow up to close the sale.
- Negotiate contracts to mitigate risk to the company.
- Work effectively with all peers, management, stakeholders Commercial and Finance, Marketing, Operations to negotiate and influence customer improvements.
- Drive quality and consistency.
- Report monthly on progress of sales objectives to leadership.
- Conduct oneself in a safe and professional manner to promote the company’s brand.
- Travel as needed to promote DYWIDAG and identify new opportunities, up to 50%.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or business field.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a technical field.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and communicate with others at all levels.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Able to adapt and succeed in a changing environment.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Experience/Skills
- Experience in the post-tensioning market either from the material or construction side of the industry.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
- California PE or SE License.

This position reports to the Vice President of Sales US, Post-Tensioning Business Unit.
