Full Time ABA Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Are you looking for a full-time ABA position, with guaranteed hours and pay?

Paragon Autism Services is looking for a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ABA therapist. Earn $35,000 a year, with guaranteed full-time hours. At Paragon we ensure that our staff can count on their salary, even if they have client cancellations or we have a client discharge.

In addition to a stable salary, Paragon provides 80 hours of paid vacation per year, 6 paid holidays, $235 per month towards health insurance, and offers a quarterly bonus system where staff can choose $300 or 3 hours of extra paid vacation every 3 months. Total annual compensation exceeds $39,000 in the first year, with annual raises for all staff.

Location & Schedule:

• Employees have consistent schedules (scheduled to see clients Monday - Friday, between the hours of 9AM to 7PM)
• Staff work two days a week from 9AM-7PM, two days a week from 12:30PM-7PM and one day a week from 11AM-7PM.
• Sessions at Paragon are never scheduled on weekends!
• Services are provided in the home setting
• Staff working out of our Fredericksburg locations service Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, Caroline and King George counties
• Staff working out of our Woodbridge location services Prince William County

What do our Behavior Technicians do?

Behavior Technicians at Paragon are responsible for direct 1:1 service with the client. Duties include:

• Working closely with BCBAs and BCaBAs to provide evidence-based ABA therapy
• Implement individualized behavior plan and programming designed by your leadership team
• Utilize ABA principles to include discrete trial learning, incidental learning, shaping, chaining, differential reinforcement etc. under the direction of your leadership team
• Track progress and behaviors using specified data collection methods during every session

Minimum Qualifications:

• A passion for working in the field of ABA/working with individuals on the autism spectrum
• Bachelor’s degree OR RBT is preferred. Those with a degree in psychology, early childhood development, education, social services and related fields are encouraged to apply.
• Training and experience in ABA strategies and experience working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders preferred.
• Prior employment experience working with children with identified disabilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to travel between client home
• Must pass all background investigations which include State and FBI criminal backgrounds checks and CPS check
