Job Summary

Responsible for providing a range of clinical procedures. Assist in the performance of dental, radiological procedures, and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for completing patient screening procedures (e.g., oral health, dental history, x-rays).
• Counsels patient about good oral health and hygiene.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment.
• Provides excellent internal/external patient service via telephone or face-to-face contact
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have current, valid Registered Dental Hygienist certificate and CPR .
• Initiative; flexibility; ability to effectively address multiple tasks requiring attention to detail; problem identification, analysis, and resolution.
• Knowledgeable of all ADA codes, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines; ability to function with autonomy and minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage confidential records and information.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Educational Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist License.
• Current CPR certification.
• Two (2) years clinical dental hygiene experience.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
