Job Title: Registered Nurse Cath Lab RN in Johnson City, TN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cath Lab team in Johnson City, TN. As a Cath Lab RN, you will be responsible for assisting the physician in performing invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on patients with heart disease. You will also be responsible for administering medications as directed, monitoring vital signs and ensuring the overall well-being of patients undergoing procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform pre-procedure assessments on patients and administer prescribed medications
• Assist physician during catheterization and angiography procedures
• Monitor patients during procedures, recording and interpreting cardiac and hemodynamic data
• Administer medications and/or fluids as directed by the physician
• Respond to emergency situations, performing CPR if needed
• Assist in the care of patients post-procedure including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and checking for any complications
• Document all aspects of patient care in electronic medical record

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current and active RN license in the state of Tennessee
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as an RN in a cardiac cath lab
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Ability to accurately assess and interpret cardiac and hemodynamic data
• Ability to perform effectively in a high-stress environment
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of electronic medical records systems
