We are seeking all Registered Nurses (RN's) for all shifts to provide in-patient care to adolescent patients who are undergoing psychiatric care. Make a difference in someone's life by joining Desert Winds Hospital a new behavioral health hospital. New Grads welcome to apply!
RN Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive nursing assessments for patients/residents in the facility.
Document patient information and nursing care.
Delegate staff assignments based on patient needs.
Accurately administer medication to patients
Utilize appropriate interventions in psychiatric and medical emergencies.
Document the treatment plan, nursing interventions, and the patient's response to the intervention.
Provide education to patients and families based on their needs.
RN Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
Current unencumbered RN licensed by the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
Knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures.
Knowledge of all code procedures.
Knowledge of all Mental Health Laws and Child Abuse/Neglect/Maltreatment laws
Additional Requirements:
Timely renewal of cardiopulmonary resuscitation for healthcare professional’s certification, annual professional skills verification, and CPI certification. Classes are provided by Desert Winds Hospital.
