Registered Nurse (RN), PreOp/PACU Virtual Hiring Event
Job description
We have opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses (RN) in our PreOp and PACU teams at the following SCA Health Surgery Centers: Ophthalmology Surgery Center of Dallas and Advanced Surgical Center in Duncanville.

Responsibilities:
- Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status at intervals according to facility or health care organization policies and procedures
- Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care
- Implement the plan of care including the following interventions
- Evaluate the patient’s progress toward attaining outcomes
- Provide hand-off report to other teammates that are accurate, concise, and pertinent to the patient’s condition and response to care
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- One year of Pre-Operative or PACU experience strongly preferred.
- ICU or strong Medical / Surgical background
- Current state licensure to practice within good standing
- BLS, ACLS PALS (certification requirements vary from center to center)
