Job description
Gold Crest Care Center is actively hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager for the day shift, Monday-Friday for our Skilled Nursing Facility in the Bronx, NY. We are seeking a strong RN to oversee all aspects of operating a unit within our healthcare facility, from supervising nursing staff to monitoring patient care.
Duties of RN Unit Manager:
- Oversee unit
- Assist with treatment and medication administration
- Assist with Admissions
- Conduct audits of new admission charts
- Serve as liaison between family, patient, doctor and other departments
- Investigate all incident reports and follow-up
- Participate in managing staff and assignments to ensure quality of care
- Participate and report on patient conditions in daily meetings
- Participate in annual evaluations of staff
Qualifications:
- Must have current NY RN license
- Must have excellent leadership and communication skills
- 1 year experience in Long Term Care preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
