Regulatory Compliance Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Support regular on-going review and analysis of all relevant state and federal statutes and regulations
- Assist in research of state, industry, and federal law changes
- Seek guidance from outside resources to ensure a complete understanding of new laws
- Assist in conducting research to provide appropriate compliance recommendations
- Assist in the development of written communication of new/pending regulations to impacted stakeholders to ensure compliance
- Assist in research to internal compliance related questions
- Maintain and update regulatory repository with latest state laws, company certificates and other related data
- Maintain vendor updates to include staff notification, documentation, and system implementation
- Serve as an active participant on projects to streamline workflows within functional areas as assigned
- Assist compliance projects from initial stages through implementation of corrective actions
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- At least one years’ experience as a regulatory compliance professional, or similar
- An understanding of industry regulatory requirements, ability to research regulatory changes, identifies processes or other changes needed based on new or updated regulations
- 3+ years of work experience in personal auto and workers’ compensation product lines. Knowledge of Managed Care regulations is a plus.

- Microsoft Office proficient
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external constituents
- Ability to work within a diverse environment
- Demonstrated ability to engage in complex problem solving and analytical thinking
- Highly initiative; strong organizational skills and time management abilities; capacity to prioritize competing responsibilities
