Job description
Two Fish Therapy is seeking a Remote Medical Receptionist for a Home Health pediatric occupational and speech therapy clinic in Pinellas County Florida. We service children under the age of 18 in community settings /homes. This position is an hourly and contract position.
Qualifications:
- Must have minimum 1 year experience in medical office, preferably in pediatrics
- Must have good communication skills
- Posses excellent customer service skills
- Expereince or ability to learn and use EMR
- Facilitate phone calls from physician offices and patients
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google docs, Excel spread sheet
- Ability to bill a variety of medical insurances, familiarity with clearinghouses
- Ability complete new patient intakes, including preauthorizations
- Excellent in verbal & written English language communication skills
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills
- One year of customer service experience required, preferably in medical setting
Job Types: Full-time, PRN, Per diem
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
