Job Purpose:
The Youth ¿ Physical Activity Towards Health (Y-PATH) intervention is a research-informed, evidence-based physical literacy intervention, which aims to improve physical activity levels of adolescents through education about the importance of physical activity for health and the development of fundamental movement skills. Y-PATH has undergone feasibility and fully powered intervention testing in post-primary schools in the Republic of Ireland. Findings to date have indicated that Y-PATH is effective in increasing physical activity and fundamental movement skills.
