Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring in residential and commercial properties
• Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components
• Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure the proper functioning
• Complete required documentation of repairs and service information
• Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
• Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs
  
• Install recessed lighting, landscape lighting, decorative light fixtures, and under-cabinet lighting
• Install ceiling fans and attic fans, heavy ups, electrical service upgrades, and sub-panels
• Install and service generators
• Install circuits, receptacles, switches, and dimmers

• A Journeyman or Master license is a plus but experience doing residential service work is more important than the license itself
• Must know electrical code and be able to work in homes doing repairs and installations with little to no supervision
• 5 years minimum in the electrical field with a minimum of 2 years doing residential service
• Valid driver's license
• Clean background check
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
