The Beechwood Organization, one of the largest developers of single family and multifamily housing in New York State, and Long Island’s largest homebuilder and developer of sophisticated lifestyle communities, has an immediate opportunity for a PT Residential Construction Warranty Technician in Yaphank, New York.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m (schedule subject to change as need arises)

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Travel Required in Suffolk County from site to site as needed.

· Monitor customer requests for warranty service

· Ensure that warranty service work is completed on time and meets the customer’s and the company’s standards

· Resolve all claims and disputes about warranty issues

· Coordinate with construction office customer service representative for appointments, warranty service work, tracking change orders, trade and customer follow-up, and closing of the work order.

· In partnership with the Construction Superintendent, perform walk-throughs to ensure that homes are ready before taking ownership and are 100% complete prior to the Pre-Close Orientation

· Manage the day-to-day work of each trade to guarantee quality workmanship and “on-time, every time” accountability.

· Complete all paperwork as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Flexibility with Schedule/Hours Needed
• Computer Literate (Microsoft: Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Homebuilding experience
• Minimum 3 years customer relations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
