Mission:
The Next Door provides a continuum of evidence-based substance abuse and mental health services for women in an environment of faith and healing to restore hope and a lifetime of recovery.
Summary:
To provide direct evidence-based clinical services for women who have a substance use disorder and/or mental health diagnosis. This includes functioning as the family therapist providing counseling sessions for the women and their family and/or primary support system, facilitating family groups and visitation as well as providing and coordinating individual and treatment services with both the Residential and Re-Entry programs as necessary.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties include the following:
- Provide trauma-informed individual, group and crisis counseling.
- Clinical assignments include, but are not limited to the following: o Provide weekly psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups for clients. o Provide weekly individual counseling for assigned clients.
- Complete ASAM and continued/discharge stay ASAMs along with Treatment plans updated weekly.
- Attend and participate in weekly treatment team meetings.
- Assist in managing clients’ crises as needed.
- Ensure timely and professional documentation in accordance with TND, Inc. policy, the ACA code of ethics.
- Ensure that TND, Inc. policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Complete Biopsychosocial for assigned Clients within 24 hours of admit.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field is required.
- License preferred in Mental Health, Social Work or Marriage and Family, or
LADAC II.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with target population is preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience utilizing best practices in addiction treatment preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
