Mission:

The Next Door provides a continuum of evidence-based substance abuse and mental health services for women in an environment of faith and healing to restore hope and a lifetime of recovery.

Summary:

To provide direct evidence-based clinical services for women who have a substance use disorder and/or mental health diagnosis. This includes functioning as the family therapist providing counseling sessions for the women and their family and/or primary support system, facilitating family groups and visitation as well as providing and coordinating individual and treatment services with both the Residential and Re-Entry programs as necessary.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties include the following:

• Provide trauma-informed individual, group and crisis counseling.
• Clinical assignments include, but are not limited to the following: o Provide weekly psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups for clients. o Provide weekly individual counseling for assigned clients.
• Complete ASAM and continued/discharge stay ASAMs along with Treatment plans updated weekly.
• Attend and participate in weekly treatment team meetings.
• Assist in managing clients’ crises as needed.
• Ensure timely and professional documentation in accordance with TND, Inc. policy, the ACA code of ethics.
• Ensure that TND, Inc. policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Complete Biopsychosocial for assigned Clients within 24 hours of admit.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field is required.
• License preferred in Mental Health, Social Work or Marriage and Family, or

LADAC II.

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with target population is preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience utilizing best practices in addiction treatment preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• This is an “essential staff” position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
