Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team at Pacific Beachwear in North Myrtle Beach. The Retail Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales and merchandising, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
• Provide product knowledge and information to customers, and offer recommendations based on their needs.
• Operate cash registers, handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, and process returns and exchanges.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring store displays are visually appealing.
• Assist with receiving and unpacking merchandise shipments, and ensure accurate inventory management.
• Maintain knowledge of store promotions, sales, and discounts, and effectively communicate them to customers.
• Demonstrate a high level of product knowledge and stay updated with the latest trends and styles in the retail industry.
• Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner, and escalate to management when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales targets and goals, and actively participate in store meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
