SHOE SHOW, INC., the country’s largest privately held footwear retailer in business 62 years with more than 1,000 stores in 47 states, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. This position is available at Shoe Dept Encore #387 located at 1000 Turtle Creek Dr (Turtle Creek Mall).

What you should know:

The Assistant Manager works with the Store Manager with daily operations of a shoe store to maximize sales and maintain operational company standards.

· Management/supervisory skills required.

· Retail experience preferred.

· Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

· Must have a passion for excellent customer service.

· Must be available various hours, including nights and weekends.

· Must be able to operate company computer systems.

Duties to include:

· Assisting in scheduling, interviewing, and recruiting employees

· Developing customer relationships

· Promoting group purchase opportunities in the community

· Conflict resolution among secondary staffing

· Develop strategies for goal achievement

· Monitor and control payroll

· Support all aspects of inventory control

· Communicating merchandise needs to corporate office through the stores POS.
