Cariloha Bamboo in Sarasota is looking for Part-Time to Full-Time Retail Sales Associates to contribute to our store’s success—and inspire our customers—through product expertise, customer service, and retail sales. Our ideal candidate is a customer-focused, responsible individual with a genuine communication style, who is committed to providing solutions and exceeding expectations.

Hourly wage is commensurate with experience. We also offer the opportunity to earn sales bonuses. We believe in promoting from within whenever possible; this position could lead to a full-time management role.

Cariloha Sarasota is a growing independently owned and operated boutique that sells an up-scale collection of mattresses, bedding, bath goods, apparel, active wear and accessories made from soft, cool, clean and green bamboo. Responsibilities

*Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service. *Become a product expert, everything in the store is made from bamboo! *Use good judgment to solve customer problems. *Work as a team with management and other associates to achieve individual and store sales goals. *Follow all Cariloha Sarasota policies and procedures. *Complete daily operational tasks including replenishing, merchandising and maintaining a clean store environment. *Process POS/register transactions including sales, returns and drop-shipping. *Additional duties as assigned. *Represent the brand positively in a variety of settings as needed.

Qualifications

*Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of sales principles and customer service practices. *Must be able to multi-task and work with multiple customers at a time in the store and on the telephone. *Must be self-motivated and able to stay busy during slow periods. *Must clearly speak, read, write and comprehend English. *Ability to lift and/or move merchandise up to 35 pounds. *Ability to climb and descend a ladder to retrieve or move merchandise. *Ability to stand for extended periods of time (4+ hours). *Ability to operate a computer, POS/register system, scanner, and credit card machine. *A flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holiday availability. *Regular and predictable attendance. *1 year retail sales experience required. *Must be at least 18 years old. *Direct Deposit is required.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $18.00 - $22.00/hour.
