Magic Valley Gear Exchange is a small business in Twin Falls, ID. We are professional, agile and our goal is to Maintain a local gear shop that is involved with community organizations, opportunities for outdoor education, and provides quality outdoor gear for all of life's adventures..

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our team at a small outdoor store that specializes in climbing, mountaineering, camping, hiking, kayaking, and winter sports. The ideal candidate should have a passion for outdoor activities and must have previous retail experience with knowledge in preseason ordering and marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with their needs and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain knowledge of all products and services offered
• Take the lead in preseason ordering and marketing campaigns
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide expertise in outdoor activities to customers
• Attend and participate in product and sales training

Requirements:

• Previous retail experience in a similar environment
• Knowledge and passion for outdoor activities, such as climbing, mountaineering, camping, hiking, kayaking, and winter sports
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers
• Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise
• Basic computer skills
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Pay: Pay is dependent on experience, with the possibility of performance bonuses and/or partial ownership. We offer benefits such as employee discounts and paid time off.
