We are looking for a dynamic, result-driven Retail Store Manager to be responsible for managing our retail store, which includes overseeing sales, staff, and inventory, providing an exceptional customer experience and embracing the brand positioning for our location at Desert Hills Premium Outlet.

The Store Manager is a reference point for the sales team and works alongside them to increase the store’s profitability. The Store Manager handles the general management and supervision of the store: the creation of installations and displays according to the visual team, the functional organization of the stockroom and the analysis of sales data to be able to make effective decisions and hit established goals. The Store Manager is the first to provide excellent customer service and lead their team by example. Thanks to his or her charisma, the Store Manager motivates and trains the group, thus leading the store to success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise, train and assist employees like Sales Representatives and Retail Store Clerks in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions.

Displays a “customer comes first” attitude by training and holding staff accountable for delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Creates objectives and action plans to improve the quality of customer service and sales.

Develop and maintain a schedule for employees and promotions centered on holiday sales and other cycles.

Maximizes store sales, through transaction and ticket growth, implementation of marketing programs and promotions.

Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store.

Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.

Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.

Ensure the store always remains clean and presentable.

Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service.

Skills:

  • Prior management experience in retail environment preferred.
  • 3-5 years retail sales experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to work night and weekend shifts.
  • Self-motivated leadership

  • Ability to operate basic business software programs.
  • Ability to climb, reach, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds.
