Texas Retina Associates is Texas’ largest, most experienced ophthalmology practice focused specifically on the diagnosis, medical and surgical management of diseases of the retina and vitreous. Our fellowshipped and specialty trained physicians care for the most complicated retina conditions such as ocular cancer and uveitis. This physician owned medical group provides services at 15 locations throughout the DFW metroplex, Waco, Wichita Falls and Lubbock.
Job Purpose
This is a salaried, exempt position located in the Dallas Main Office and reports to the Chief Financial Officer. The Revenue Cycle Coordinator will provide a wide variety of administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer and Director Revenue Cycle in addition to other duties and assignments. Must develop a deep knowledge of the organization, maintain confidentially and collaborate successfully with all physicians, management, staff and patients.
Essential Duties
- Provide administrative and organization support to the Chief Financial Officer and Director, Revenue Cycle.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize a variety of duties.
- Manage meeting preparations, coordinate conference room schedule and related arrangements, complete follow up tasks as needed. This includes special events planning such as on-site meetings, off-site meetings and holiday parties etc.
- Answer phone calls promptly and directs them appropriately.
- Excellent skills in customer service and effective interpersonal communication.
- Present a positive, professional appearance and convey a professional demeanor in the performance of assigned duties.
- Excellent computer skills, including but not limited to: Outlook Email, Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint, DocuSign.
- Must be innovative and demonstrate technical knowledge; always seeking new opportunities to streamline business administrative practices. Participate in the creation and implementation of new and revised procedures to improve the quality of work being processed.
- Complete special projects for executive and management staff.
- Manage daily business office mail.
- Reports computer, printer and telephone related issues promptly.
- Ensures no patient private health information (PHI) is divulged to anyone without a need to know.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor degree preferred.
- Minimum three to five (3 – 5) years healthcare administrative experience with excellent computer skills required.
- Experience supporting executives in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, Clinical Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and a variety of document management platforms such as DocuSign.
- Demonstrated innovation and implementation of processes / technical solutions which streamline the work process.

- Use independent judgement to escalate issues to manager as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
