About the job

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent experienced Reward Analyst to join a large professional services firm. The role is UK based and offers the flexibility around hours of work and remote working, with occasional travel to an office as required.

Operating within the Reward CoE, this role reports to the Reward Manager to support the delivery of key core reward duties to include job evaluation and internal and external benchmarking using multiple data sources. You’ll assist with survey submissions, sourcing and interpreting data for internal modelling and you’ll get involved in the design of pay, benefits and incentive schemes where appropriate, to ensure our ongoing total reward offering remains appropriate, attractive and market-competitive.

Role responsibilities include

  • Working with members of the Reward team and People team colleagues to provide analysis, insights and high quality solutions-orientated advice on compensation matters
  • Completion of market data survey submissions, acting as a point of contact for the People team regarding benchmarking and the interpretation of survey market data
  • Supporting the full reward cycle to include the planning, preparation, analysis and execution of the salary review, discretionary bonus scheme and other recognition schemes
  • Conducting proactive competitive analysis and recommend updates as necessary in line with market trends and findings
  • Undertaking pay gap reporting and equal pay audits, with associated analysis
  • Conduct research and provide analytical expertise for ad hoc projects to include benefits that may arise from time to time
  • Delivering ad-hoc reward analyses to Reward team colleagues and the People team as required

Minimum Qualifications

Key capabilities

  • Ideal candidates will have worked as a Reward Analyst or in a compensation role within a professional services organisation or large corporate environment
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills to manage and manipulate large data sets
  • Knowledge and application of job evaluation and grading frameworks
  • Internal and external benchmarking using WTW, Workday and AON McLagan
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyse large amounts of data, reward modelling and calculations to enable accurate reporting and inform decision making
  • Sound knowledge of pay and benefits trends and issues in the UK and related legislation and practice
  • Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders including at senior leadership level
