Diamond Willow is an Assisted Living and Memory Care facility that started in 2004. We have 11 locations throughout Northern Minnesota and each site has 26-30 residents per location. We are dedicated to providing quality care to our residents through compassionate care and assuring that our residents and their needs remain at the forefront of our focus.

Diamond Willow is seeking an RN (registered nurse) Regional Operations Supervisor- Duluth, Minnesota Region.
The Regional Operations Supervisor is responsible for providing comprehensive leadership for senior living communities in operational management, goal setting and long term growth for 5 of our facilities located in Cloquet, Grand Rapids, Lester Park-Duluth, Mountain Iron and Proctor. This position would preferably be based in the Duluth, MN area. The Regional Operations Supervisor leads a team of employees with a positive, open-door atmosphere with effective communication, leading by example and ensuring outstanding attention to our residents and company objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Weekly onsite, in person leadership at our MN facilities in Cloquet, Grand Rapids, Lester Park- Duluth, Mountain Iron and Proctor.
• Assist site directors in strategically implementing resident census plans across the 5 designated Diamond Willow Sites.
• Understand and implement the Home Care and Assisted Living Laws & Rules of 144G.08-144G.9999.
• Execute and support site staffing plans to increase applications, retain staff and staff development.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Facilitate a training program for both licensed and non-licensed staff to ensure the delivery of quality of care.
• Acts as role model within and outside the company.
• Maintains a positive and respectful attitude.
• Communicating with DOO regarding relevant staff and resident information and/or concerns.
• Demonstrates self-motivated, independent work ethic, with flexible and efficient time management to prioritize workload.
• Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures company compliance.
• Responsible for part of the regional nursing leadership and care teams for the overall patient care and management process.
• Adheres to company policy and procedures.
• Provides oversight, guidance and support for the process related to the development, implementation and outcomes of patient care plans as developed through clinician assessment.
• Serves as a resource, positive role model and mentor for the clinical nurse supervisor and other staff.
• The Regional Operations Supervisor, with the direction of the Director of Operations over sees multiple areas such as training, quality and clinical regulatory compliance.

REQUIREMENT:
Current Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) OR Licensed RN in State of Minnesota with a commitment to obtain LALD within 1 year.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

• Minimum of 2 years supervisory skills with prior experience as a general manager, executive director or administrator within the healthcare industry preferred.
• RN Degree.
• Ability to lead a team of healthcare staff to high levels of performance.
• Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management and/or public groups.
• Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Read and comprehend financial reports and legal documents.
• Read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
