RN Unit Manager **$5,000 Sign-on Bonus
Wilson Senior Care has an opening for an RN Unit Manager in our Loris facility. Wilson Senior Care, is an employee-owned organization that has a long history of providing quality skilled nursing care in multiple locations throughout South Carolina.

- Render nursing care to residents as indicated.
- Oversight of resident care and services on Unit.
- Monitors and evaluates resident condition and report signs/symptoms and changes in condition to physician and responsible party as indicated.
- Maintains accurate and complete medical records reflective of care and services per current Standards of Practice.
- Assumes responsibility for assisting with meds and treatments as needed (including IV fluids and IV meds).
- Provides 1:1 coaching and assist in education as indicated.
- Assists on orientation of new staff.
- Attends and participates in in-service and educational programs.
- Routine and Monthly Physician Order checks to ensure accuracy.
- Makes residents rounds to ensure quality care and assess need for additional or modified services.
- Assists physician during rounds.
- Supervises direct care staff.
- Makes changes in staff schedule as indicated by absence and illness and contact additional help to obtain their services where needed.
- Inspects unit at beginning and ending of each shift, as well as prn.
- Admits/discharges patients and complete Admission and Re-Admission assessments as indicated.
- Review all potential infections/antibiotic use to see if it meets McGreer criteria and enter infection data into AHT timely.
