Rochester AmeriCorps is recruiting for the 2023-24 term of service

Members accepted to our program will have the opportunity to gain practical experiences and skills in the field of education and community development, make money to help pay for college, and contribute to the health and vitality of our city. Rochester AmeriCorps is a program of Monroe Community College.

Accepted members serve in Rochester-based educational settings that are focused on the academic success of our city’s youth and their preparation for higher education and a career. The program is full-time, 40 hours a week for 48 weeks, September 11, 2023 to August 11, 2024. We place an emphasis on member training and development to deepen members’ connection to and understanding of our community. The program will begin with an orientation and training at the MCC downtown campus and will convene monthly for Member Development Days to continue our professional development.
