RS Local Divisional Manager – North

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the Northern Division in a growing FTSE 100 company.

You will shape and deliver the branch network (face-to-face, email, web, social) customer contact channels and provide a seamless service for commercial activities, driving customer experience, growth and margin, and ensure a profitable and efficient branch network.

You will collaborate with internal sales teams to ensure growth and revenue targets are achieved across the UK.

You will have responsibility for the creation and delivery of the network strategy including ensuring branch optimisation, marketplace disruption, delivering our service proposition and compliance is upheld.

You will be responsible for the ongoing development and success of 60 colleagues across 8 branches.

Key Accountabilities:

• To set a strategic direction whilst developing operational opportunities to deliver excellence
• To achieve all strategic KPIs aligned to UK&I Customer & Branch Operations and create high- performing teams
• To drive profitable growth & loyalty from all sales channels within the RS Local Network
• To demonstrate leadership qualities in all activities and become a role model across the organisation
• To maintain a multi-channel QA framework
• To maintain Service Level Agreements across all customer contact channels
• To maintain process, procedure and policy is adhered to when interacting with customers
• To drive improvements in Inventory and warehouse optimisation

• To utilise Customer Insight to identify and drive Customer Experience improvements
• To be a brand ambassador on a national and international stage through Company, Network and Industry events

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• Experience at a senior level of leadership in a matrix and complex organisation across a branch network
• Experience of inspiring, coaching and mentoring to achieve high-performing teams
• Experience of creating and implementation talent management and succession planning strategies
• Experience of budget, risk and compliance management in a large organisation
• Experience of improving customer experience and creating operational service capabilities for new service propositions
• Experienced stakeholder management with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
• A full UK driving licence is required as there will be extensive travel to company and customer sites and to branch locations including Corby, Nuneaton, Leeds, Nottingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Aberdeen and Glasgow
