Responsibilities:
The National Account Manager will be responsible for meeting the set goals and objectives by supporting existing customers, cultivating new opportunities and meeting/exceeding sales quotas while ensuring customer satisfaction. The candidate must be strong with making good first impressions, as well as building relationships and enjoy finding and closing new opportunities.
- Maintaining and expanding database of prospects and source new opportunities
- Responsible for developing relationships with various levels of the organization, seeking out new business opportunities, and resolving quality issues
- Skilled at negotiating and maintaining multi-year contracts with major customers through various terms
- Partners with internal support and operational teams to coordinate necessary items for customer orders
- Investigates and communicates quality issues and customer complaints while leveraging teams to resolve opportunities with a sense of urgency
- Becomes a customer representative, establishing unique position by differentiating our corporate value to the customer
- Demonstrates appropriate attitude in all dealings with coworkers, customers, and suppliers
- Quickly identifies client needs and suggests appropriate products/solutions and close sales opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree and/or related experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and exercises sound judgment and decision making
- Self-confident and self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Comfortability prospecting and completing meetings virtually (phone and video)
- Able to work independently without guidance
- Comfortability using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams and Outlook
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 10 years of related experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients
