Job Summary:

This position is responsible for acquiring new business and retaining existing customers within the Ready-Mix Industry.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Achieves sales volume through product promotion and direct customer contact
• Cross-sells new applications to existing customers
• Proactively tracks and manages sales-related activities in assigned territory
• Understands and communicates the value of products and services to the customer
• Investigates and/or provides technical information and assistance to potential and existing customers
• Works effectively with Customer Service, Plant, QC, and Accounting personnel to ensure customer satisfaction
• Performs credit and collection duties to minimize outstanding receivables
• Maintains operations in excellent condition, mechanically and esthetically
• Ensure that a safe workplace is maintained, based on company policies and OSHA guidelines
• Ensure that all products meet or exceed customer’s expectations regarding quality and service
• Ensure that all employees are working efficiently and consistently with company policies and guidelines
• Maintains existing relationships and develops new customers through consultative selling

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of sales experience in Ready Mix industry or related industry
• Demonstrated track record of sales success
• Exceptional communications skills, including written and verbal
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of local construction industry, concrete mixes and specifications Valid driver’s license
