Role
We are looking for a methodical, motivated, and energetic Sales Director to lead our Medicare Insurance sales department. The Sales Director will own the entire telephonic sales process for sales agents based at HQ in Fort Lauderdale and remote. This will be a hands-on role that leans heavily on both sales best practices and creative techniques, working closely with the leadership team and a growing sales force.
Team
The Sales Director will report directly to the founder / CEO and work cross-functionally with other department heads. There are currently two Co-Sales Managers who will report to the Director.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, develop, and manage the sales team
- Generate and optimize sales center best practices, including sales tactics and scripting
- Conduct goal-setting and performance reviews
- Ensure continued compliant and ethical sales practices
Recruit / Develop / Manage
- Help grow the sales team from 12 to 25 by Q4 2023
- Create informative onboarding procedures for new hires
- Work with sales managers to help entire sales team achieve their goals
Sales Center Best Practices
- Use one to many formal sales processes to increase close rates of agents
- Tweak scripts to reflect sales processes that are yielding positive results
Goal-Setting / Performance Reviews
- Help sales team set and achieve their sales targets
- Review performance quarterly
Ensure Compliance
- Follow CMS guidelines for all sales
- Work closely with internal Compliance Officer
Requirements
We are looking for exceptional candidates who have:
- 7+ years of experience in sales
- 4+ years of managing a sales team
- Experience in Medicare telephonic sales
- Strong project management and executional skills with a high degree of attention to detail
- Track record of consistently delivering excellent results in a fast-paced environment
Ideal candidates are also:
- Resourceful, hard working, and eager to roll your sleeves up to execute every detail
- Analytical, to leverage quantitative insights and drive continual improvement of partnership campaigns
- Eager to learn and receive feedback
- Kind, humble, and don’t take themselves too seriously
- Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required
